The SEDCO is collaborating with Downtown Strategies to revitalize the Square. Our goal is to create a vibrant, welcoming space that meets the needs of our community. With the upcoming 5 Year Action Plan, Slaton is sure to win with a beautiful and vibrant square.
5 Year action plan
The City of Slaton, TX has partnered with Downtown Strategies to develop a Five-Year Action Plan for Downtown Slaton. Instead of brainstorming everything we could do, their bite-sized plan will identify practical small-scale strategies for what we should do to see immediate impact.
Next Steps
With the survey and community meeting successfully completed, Downtown Strategies will now utilize the gathered information to develop our comprehensive plan. We are eager to begin implementing the valuable tips and strategies they have provided. Stay tuned for further updates.
